National ICT Olympiad

The National ICT Olympiad will engage school and college students through preliminary screening, divisional rounds hosted by academic partner universities and a national final at BCS ICT Fest 2026.

Only students from recognized educational institutions are eligible. Professional participants are not eligible.


Categories & Selection

  • Category A: School students
  • Category B: College students
  • Preliminary screening before each divisional event
  • Up to 100 selected participants per division
  • National Top 50 finalists advance to BCFCC

Assessment

  • Divisional rounds: written / OMR MCQ examination
  • Final: advanced written, analytical or practical ICT assessment as approved
  • Merit certificates and winner recognition at the festival

National Final: during BCS ICT Fest 2026 at BCFCC, Dhaka — finalists, winners and merit-certificate recipients will be recognized at the festival.


Rules and Guidelines

  1. Open only for students (Category A: School; Category B: College).
  2. Professional participants are not eligible.
  3. Each participant must provide accurate personal and educational information during registration.
  4. Participants must present valid institutional identification and follow the published seat plan.
  5. Participants must bring their own pen.
  6. Electronic devices are prohibited unless expressly authorized by the Olympiad committee.
  7. Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, digital watches, earphones, headphones, tablets, laptops, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
  8. Participants must comply with examination integrity rules and instructions from the organizing committee.
  9. Any unfair means, misconduct or rule violation may result in disqualification.
  10. The decision of the judges and organizing committee will be final.
  11. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the schedule, venue, assessment format, selection process or rules if required.
  12. The national Top 50 participants will receive certificates based on merit.
